GOVERNMENT WARNS DISSIDENTS NOT TO LEAVE THEIR TOWNS By Luis Ramón Hernŕndez Rodríguez, Cuba Free Press.
VILLA CLARA - Government agents have warned almost every dissident organization's leaders and some other activists in this city that they have no authorized freedom of movement. They may move inside their own towns but were told they may not move to other municipalities and especially not to Havana. They were not advised how long those restrictions will remain.
They believe the sanctions might be lifted soon, perhaps at the beginning of next week. Among people under restriction are: Berta Antúnez Pernet, president of the Pedro Luis Boitel Civic Movement; Librado Linares García, general secretary of the Cuban Reflection Movement; Omar Pernet Hernández, an activist within the Pedro Luis Boitel group; Félix Ojito, civil rights activist; Luis Ramón Hernández Rodríguez, president of the Democratic Action Movement; Amado Ruiz Moreno, delegate of the Jose Marti Nov. 30 political party and Amador Blanco Hernández, president of the National Commission for Human Rights.
