CUBAN DISSIDENTS MEET WITH POLISH SOLIDARITY LEADER By Rodolfo Guerra, Cuba Free Press.
HAVANA - Cuban dissidents Gustavo Arcos, Osvaldo Payá and Osvaldo Alfonso and independent journalist Raúl Rivero met on Nov. 13 with Adam Mesmik, a Polish Solidarity leader and one of the men closest to ex-president Lech Walessa.
Mr. Mesmik expressed an interest in the viability of the democratic efforts on the island and in the increased relevance of the internal opposition. The pro-freedom activists also talked about recent human rights violations.
