POLICE FINGERPRINT, THREATEN 70 UNEMPLOYED YOUTHS By Mary Miranda, Cuba Free Press.
HAVANA - Agents of the National Police booked 70 unemployed youths on Monday (Oct. 11) in Placetas, Villa Clara province, in central Cuba. The police questioned, fingerprinted and issued official warnings to the youths, most between the ages of 19 and 30, threatening to charge them with "social dangerousness."
The police round-up was led by a Maj. Sansiel with two officers known only as Rangel and Pedro from the Technical Department of Investigations of the National Police.
