HAVANA - The distribution of medicine has virtually ceased in the town of Hanabanilla, Villa Clara province, since July, according to an official source responding to a complaint by a citizen, whose identity is withheld.

The information was without any further explanation. However, since the collapse of the Soviet block and cessation of its subsidy to Cuba, each day has brought more drama to the drastic Cuban situation in which even finding an aspirin has become the work of 'titans.'
