RETURNED RAFTER "NOT TRUSTWORTHY" IN 'EDUCATION' By Juan Carlos Recio, Cuba Free Press.

HAVANA - A returned rafter was transferred from her nursing job at a child care center in central Cuba because municipal public health authorities classified her as "not trustworthy."

Maribel Rodríguez had left the country aboard a raft and had been repatriated to Cuba before working as a nurse in the child care center in Caibarién, Villa Clara province. She now has been reassigned to duties elsewhere.

Ministry of Public Health authorities have issued an official directive that all such returnees be kept away from jobs in places involved in any way with education.
