SANTIAGO - Four Cuban political police agents arrested a young dissident leader Wednesday (Sept. 22) afternoon in Santiago and two days later his whereabouts were still unknown.

The police arrested Néstor Rodríguez Lobaina, president of the Cuban Movement of Youth for Democracy at the home of the provincial coordinator of the movement, Eddy Alfredo Mena González. Before taking the prisoner away, Officer Quintín Peraza warned Mena that he, too, could be jailed for planning subversive activities.
