HAVANA - The government freed three dissidents who finished serving one-and-one-half-year sentences in Santa Clara province in central Cuba.
The three released activists of the Party For Human Rights, affiliated with the Andrej Saharov Foundation, are Ileana Peñalver Duque, Juan Antonio Alvarado Almeida, 32, and Lilian Meneses Martínez, 45.
