STRATE SECURITY AGENTS EXPEL PASTOR-JOURNALISTS FROM PLACE OF WORSHIP. Cuba Free Press.
Bayamo.- Two unidentified State Security agents managed to get two pastors who also are independent journalists and contributors to Cuba Free Press barred from their planned place of worship. The two are Adis Nuvia Alcolea and Ricardo Arabis.
The two were planning to build a house of worship on a vacant lot. They had made arrangements with the owner of the lot. But then the government agents went to that owner and told him the two men really were false pastors and actually U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) agents paid by the U.S. government and also belonged to the Cuban American National Foundation and other such organizations in Florida.
The two deny such accusations as "ridiculous" and consider that their human rights of religion and speech are being denied. But since there is no law providing them such rights, they have no recourse except to inform Cuba Free Press about their plight.
