FASTING IN SOLIDARITY WWITH MARITZA LUGO ACHIEVES ITS GOALS. By Luis Ramon Hernandez Rodriguez, Cuba Free Press.

Placetas.- Members of the 30th of November Group and of the National Council of Civil Rights ended their fast victoriously on Thursday, March 9 at residences in Placetas and Baez.

They and the family of Maritza Lugo at Finca Bafragua in Havana had fasted so as to obtain Maritza's transfer from the Technical Department of Investigations (DTI) to the Political Police Station in Villa Marista, and for the government either to formally charge Mrs. Lugo and either start her due process or release her.

Maritza Lugo has now been transferred and her due process has begun. Thus, the fasting accomplished its goals.
