SHORT-LIVED HAVANA SIGN SAYS VIVA FOUNDATION! By Roberto Larramendi, Cuba Free Press.
Havana.-Sometime last week, a sign was posted at the busy intersection of San Miguel St. in front of the Park Fe del Valle (Faith of the Valley Park), where once had stood the famous department store known as El Encanto. This store was destroyed in a fire soon after the revolution 41 years ago.
The sign, made from an old piece of cardboard had printed in black ink the following: "VIVA THE CUBAN-AMERICAN FOUNDATION!" Cuba Free Press sources catalogued the information before authorities could destroy the sign.
