WORKING GROUP OF FOUR IMPRISONED IN DIFFERENT LOCATIONS By Efrén Martinez Pulgarón, Cuba Free Press.
HAVANA - Officials transferred the four members of the Working Group of Internal Dissidence Saturday from Havana's Villa Marist to different prisons on the island.
Marta Beatriz Roque was sent to the women's prison "Manto Negro," according to economist Ileana Someillán. Earlier, Roque was sent to the state security inmates' ward in the Carlos J. Finlay military hospital for treatment of abnormal blood pressure.
Vladimiro Roca was taken to the "Ariza" maximum security prison in Cienfuegos, René Gómez Manzano to "Agüica" in Matanzas and Félix Bonne to the "Guananajay" prison in the Havana province.
The signers of "The Country Belongs to Us All" were allowed visitors last Thursday and Friday in Villa Marist but neither they nor their relatives were warned of the transfer. Saturday morning the four families received surprise telephone calls from the Office of State Security (OSS) notifying them of the moves.
Health problems of the four opponents of the Castro regime were also made known: Bonne Carcassés has leg inflammations; Gómez Manzano conjunctivitis; Roque Cabello, blood pressure disorder; and Roca Antúnez, although improved, is beginning to show nervous problems.
Marta Beatriz was allowed a special visit Monday. Bonne was in Villa Marist from Feb. 22, and Roque, Gómez and Roca from Feb. 24.
